The Mummy (2017)

Film

The Mummy from 1999 with Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz is an epic masterpiece. The 2017 version with Tom Cruise is a travesty. Half of the trailer focus on a single action sequence that is the only fun part in the whole movie.

Nobody

Film

I think Bob Odenkirk made this one to get Saul Goodman out of his system by punching people. Fun film with good action scenes and good characters.

The Gray Man

Film

Some of the action scenes are fun and most characters act like idiots to make the film happen. Critical thinking lobotomy required for this one.

Prey

Film

A good predator movie in 2022. Bit of a shock really. The predators film you have to care about is now Predator (1987), Predator 2 (1990) and Prey.

Venom - Let There Be Carnage

Film

This was a snoozefest. The Venom and Eddie interactions was a bit more fun but the overall story just made me zone out.

Blood red sky

Film

A vampire lady and her son fly on a plane to New York when it is taken over by hijackers. Things turn violent but i feel like the writers wimped out. She is a vampire, she rips people into pieces and it’s fine as they are hijackers. No need to make the hijackers Evil for the viewers to side with her.

Free Guy

Film

Free guy was fun with it’s life in a video game story. Why is there always a bit of a stalker element in these kind of stories :|.

Battle Royale

Film

Looked at the Japanese film Battle Royale based on the novel by Koushun Takami. In the movie a group of high-school student is forced by the government to compete in a deadly game where they all kill each other. Great film and it’s fun to see the main characters take part in the action and not sit around in a tree like in certain other movie clones.

The Postman

Film

Film with Kevin Costner based on the novel with the same name. Costner mills around as the Postman for three hours and fail to get anywhere or get anything done. Things that do not matter is said and everyone he meets try to call him the postman as many time as possible. Overall this is just to long and if you need a dosage of the end of the world read the book. [Read More]

Carriers

Film

Worldwide virus kill almost everyone. Four survivors try to drive to the southwestern United States where they think there will be a safe zone where they can wait for the pandemic to die out. There car break down and they are forced to interact with people they meet. All in all… meh.
