F.E.A.R Extraction Point
Expansion to Fear where the story pick ups right after the end of the original game. Still the same problems as before with to much reuse of the same events time after time and it s not long before you sleep you way through another the-ring-girl-in-dark-corridor-approaching sequence. There is really no fear in this game but it rather feels like a bad mix of doom 3 and the movie the Ring.

F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin
More hallways and store rooms with huge fire fights and still not much in the way of fear. The level designers for the game need basic training in learning to place triggers, I spent most of the games trying to see the things I was supposed to see each time there was a spooky sound but I more or less missed them all. It's like a game that can't choose if it would like to be action or horror and so it does not it any high on any of them.

F.E.A.R. 3
More misplaced triggers and not much more. The writer of the story must be be paid by the number of lines as people talk on with nothing to say. Possible to replay the game with another character but i hated him the first time i played so why suffer more.

F.E.A.R. First Encounter Assault Recon
Not much fear in this game as the name might make you believe There are some fun things like flashbacks and ghost images but not much of it is put to good use so once again you find yourself running around shooting at things in the same hallways as always

F1 GP Circuit
Racing game where you always drive up the screen in cars such as McLoren and the Lotas. There is nothing good in this game really, bad music, bad art, bad gameplay. Did not manage to find any movie of this game and i will not pollute the Internet with one.

Factorio
Crashed on a alien planet you need to build a spaceship to escape. Chop some wood, build a furnace and hours later you have a giant factory covering the planet. Belts and trains go everywhere and you need to defend it against the alien bugs when the get angry about your environmental disaster.

Fallout 3
Action role-playing game where you play on earth after it has been hit by a nuclear apocalypse. You play in and around the ruins of Washington D.C and your are searching for your father. Great game :).

I did like the Mothership Zeta DLC the most.

Fallout 4
Set in and around the city of Boston, known as "The Commonwealth". Four factions to work with, the Brotherhood of Steel, the Institute, the Minutemen or the Railroad. The story is about you trying to find your lost son. Like we care, we have fatman's to shoot with. I'm sure he show up someday.

Fallout: New Vegas
Explore New Vegas, find the mysterious man that try to kill you and then help the faction of you choice to power. The best DLC was Old World Blues.

Far Cry
This game takes place on some paradise islands were you, the hero in a red shirt have taken your boat with a nice girl when someone choose to blow your boat to small parts. The only response is to get all the guns you can and kill them all . The great thing about this game is the nice environment setting with a green island with a nice blue water were you can walk around and almost feel like you are there on a vacation, if you ignore the fact that there are people with guns trying to kill you . It gets more boring when you get inside and face up to the clich? indoor first-person shooter kill evil mutant Nazis gameplay but you simply have to push on to the next outdoor section

Far: Changing Tides
A walking simulator where you mostly swim and sail among the ruins of a lost civilization. Not much happens beside the sightseeing and a some really really simple puzzles.

Farming Simulator 2013
Farm life is not something that fits me.

Final Doom
Two more campaigns for Doom 2, The Plutonia Experiment and TNT: Evilution with 32 levels each. Really difficult and you have to walk around looking for each and every spare bullet you can find.

Final Fantasy 13
Role-playing game where the roles are set and the playing takes care of itself. The only thing left is to follow the story and read every note to try to understand what is going on. All the characters overact like the voice actor had a gun to his head so it get's a bit tiresome after a while. The final nail for me was the combat. So repetitive and boring I gave it all up. So youtube for the rest of the story then.

Firewatch
Take a job as a fire lookout. Look out the window of your tower, talk to another ranger over radio and walk. The 4 hours playtime would be 8 hours if the run button was removed. The short clip shows a summary of all the things you get to do in the game. But it's mostly walking. I think it's time for me to give up on walking simulators. I can't handle more slow paced walking, looking at things and suffer another nothingburger story. The only upside is that they are short and give game journalists more time writing another is video games art essay/review.

Forsaken
Set in a distant future where Earth is condemned and mercenaries now raid the dead planet. Battle robots left behind and other mercenaries. Linear levels, lacklustre enemies and weapons makes me prefer to play Descent instead.

Fortune Winds: Ancient Trader
Turn based seafaring game where you trade and battle mythical sea-monsters.

Read more about my work on the Fortune Winds: Ancient Trader page

Forza Horizon 4
Open-world racing game where the season of the world change each week. Driving earns skill points that can unlock perks on each vehicle. I play on super easy so the AI have to work overtime to make me look good.

Fracture
Shooter where you can manipulate the ground. By raising it a few meter up or down. I was bored before the the tutorial section ended.

Freelancer
Space combat/trader game like Privateer. The story is about you being one of the few survivors from space station destroyed by a unknown enemy force. The goal is for you to find out who they are, what they want and why all people you meet would like to kill you to get the strange alien artefact you have found. The ship is controlled by the mouse in this game and it works nice with your ships weapon turning and shooting towards your mouse pointer. Space combat is a bit simple with keys to heal shields and ship hull, almost like health and mana in a role playing games.

Fright Night
Arcade style adventure game based on the movie. You play a vampire and walk around your mansion looking for people to feed on.

Frogger
Frogger on C64.

Frogger
Get your frogs home by crossing a busy road and a river with alligators.

Frontlines: Fuel of War
First-person shooter where the whole world has fallen apart and from lack of oil and now the two factions left battle it out for the last few barrels. More of a multi player game really but it also has a single player campaign. Nice cut scenes and the game contains many strange gadgets the classes in the game can use.

Future Tank
Top down tank game.
